i found the location excellent, just a short walk to the thames. the staff were friendly. i enjoyed the breakfast, it had plenty of options. the free parking was convenient, a definite bonus in this area.
the outdoor stairs to the rooms are quite steep, it might be challenging for some guests.

the room felt quite dated. the bathroom door didn't close properly, the bottom looked like it was disintegrating. there were marks on the walls too. and there was red hair stuck to the shower wall when i arrived. obviously, the photos online are very flattering.

i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. the free parking at the hotel was convenient, and the location suited my needs. it was a short walk into town and along the river. the breakfast was very good (i especially liked the eggs).
my room had only one bedside table, made reading in bed a bit difficult.
